I am Texas born and raised and a proud Chickasaw Citizen from the Chickasaw Nation in Ada Oklahoma. My drawings are visual creations for the one thing that has remained constant in my own journey; how I choose to define myself is simply my connection with me, my family, my friends, and my surroundings. I am a self-taught artist,with a God Given Gift. I also give a great deal of credit for my creativity to other artists who I'm glad to call my friends.The inspiration of fellow artists is priceless. I prefer my drawings to stand on their own. I'm an outsider, not fitting neatly into any category by which "artists" are described and marketed, its their story not mine..Having been an artist as long as I can remember, I love to create, I could not live without pencil and paper ! I love that beauty exists for no reason at all. It's there for us to invite in. A constant in my life.

A Portrait of Your Choice !

Should you wish to have your own favorite photo of your family or friend Hand drawn as a beautiful gift for you or someone one special I would be honored to be your Artist.

How does this work?

E-mail me a photo of your choosing, from which I will create a custom portrait in graphite ! The drawing will be done on 8x10 or 11X14 Bristol Vellum paper, which is very good quality, and will be fixed so it will not smudge to a light touch.

The quality of the photo you choose greatly determines the quality of the portrait. I can not take a poor photo and make a great drawing. Can I work from a poor photograph? Yes. But keep in mind I can not draw what I can not see and the quality will reflect. Preferably a large photo of high resolution . Please keep this in mind (I can't stress it enough!)

Photos sent by postal mail will be returned with completed artwork.

Waiting time is typically 2-3 weeks , but varies according to how many are ahead of you. If you would like a special portrait for Christmas or special occasion I recommended you contact me as early as a 2-3 months time frame to insure it arrives on time. It is important to me that you are satisfied. Once your portrait is finished, I will email a digital image and will only ship to you after I receive your approval and payment.
